Boy meets girl, girl likes boy, boy and girl go out – this seems to be the romantic chain of events most people follow. But throw in a girl who’s insisting on lying and a boy who is too curious to quit the game, and the equation becomes much more confusing. Through this dynamic between boy and girl, What We Are (Not) explores how, strangely enough, one can be truthful without being honest.
